Hi There!
How are u doin´?
Well, If u desire to find out one of the most beautiful places in Brazil with hot weather, wonderful beaches and a paradisic landscape I suggest u and your friends to visit Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte. It´s located at the Northeast region of the country.
With its dozens of sandy, white beaches, such as Ponta Negra and its famous Morro do Careca, Tabatinga - the cliff of dolphins, Pirangi, Redinha, and Jenipabu with its famous fixed sand dunes and imported camels, tourism is the most important industry of Natal, attracting Brazilians, Europeans , and Americans alike.
If u like nudist beaches I sugest u to visit Tambaba beach located in Joao Pessoa, Paraíba. It´s located at the same region of Natal and it´s famous for it´s wonderful landscape and tranquility. It´s also a good place to visit and spend some days just layin´on the beach and get a tan without anyone messing u out.
aNOTHER place with hot and umid climate is Amazon region, with cities like Manaus, capital of Amazonas and Belém, capital of Pará. U´ll find out some diverse landscape:nature, rivers and culture: parties, dirverse kind of regional food and culture and historic monuments. In October is celebrated the "Círio de Nazaré" in Belém, one of the most important catholic celebrations in our county. It gathered a crowd from all over the world and thousand and thousand of devotes of Nossa Senhora de Nazaré. It´s something really memorable to meet iin there. (besides the food!!! vatapá, pato no tucupi, maniçoba and other dishes).
São Luiz do Maranhão is another hot weather region to visit in Brazil. With beaches and historical areas classified by the government as Humanity Patrimony (Reviver Project), this city is really interesting. Folclory and regional celebrations are also found in there like Bumba meu boi, a regional manifestation with music and dance.
that´s it, I hope u can choose your destination. Some other doubts u can discover by visiting some sites which generally shows some info abt our turistic destinations.
best regards

August, its best to come to the Northeast. You'll find it is 30 degrees every day, which is perfect.
I advise you to visit my home state of Pernambuco, if you like beaches the best are Porto de Galinhas and Ilha de Itamaracá.. also there are beautiful beaches south (in Alagoas state) and north (Paraíba e Rio Grande do Norte states). In fact, the whole northeast coastline is really nice.
Most popular with tourists are Jericoacoara and Canoa Quebrada, which are in Ceará state, don't miss them either!
And if you can, learn a little basic Portuguese before you come and bring a phrasebook with you. You will find some people that speak English but the people will appreciate when you try their native language
boa sorte e se divertir!

In August, best places are in the Northeast of Brazil, because of the beaches and hot weather. Also, the North, Manaus and Belém, are a must. Other places fo visit are, besides Rio, São Paulo and Brasilia, Foz do Iguaçu (where there is one of the most wonderful waterfalls in the world) and the so called Pantanal (low lands that get inundated) in the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. Cheers.

Minha gente, pega leve e dá um help pra mina... ela educadamente se desculpa por não falar português e pede referências para passar as férias em agosto.
Dear: August is winter in Brazil, so avoid south. In Northeast Brazil it's clear sun all the year long so it's your best choice. Nice beachs too.
Hope you enjoy it !

August is winter in Brazil, so you have to opt for places that have milder winters, which means hot weather for most foreigns. The North and Nothest of Brazil have good weather all year long. I would suggest:
1.***Bonito - MS (great nature, rivers... no beaches)
2.***Porto de Galinhas - PE (beaches)
3.Fortaleza - CE (beaches)
4.Maceió - AL (beaches)
5.Natal - RN (beaches)
6.***Ariaú Amazon Towers Hotel (60 Km from Manaus - AM) - (forest & animals)

*** are my preferences
I hope you enjoy!
