SINCE SEPARATION IS INEVITABLE , I SHOULD PUT OUR REMINISCENCE IN MIND.


既然分離已無法避免 , 我應該把我們的回憶放在心裡





上面那個句子還是有點怪怪的 有贅字的嫌疑 ..
想請人幫我把它改好一點

意思是 其實 REMINISCENCE 這個字不適用囉 ?

覺得這個字很棒 很想把它用在文章裡面 ..



我的無敵(電子辭典)沒有例句..

可以的話很希望有人可以用這個字造個例句看看

既然分離已無法避免 , 我應該把我們的回憶放在心裡。這句話有有點像宋詞裡「此情何待成追憶，只是當時已惘然」的感覺，我的英譯是：
Since separation is destined, only memory could make it lasting.
destine 是命中註定的意思，這裡用這個字暗喻「既然是命中註定」一定出於萬般無奈。第二句"only memory could make it lasting." 翻譯成中文是「只有記憶能讓這份感情永存」。lasting 是持續不斷的意思。
你有沒有發現，這兩段話的最後兩個字還是押韻的呢！

既然你很喜歡 reminiscence 這個字，整句改成 Since separation is destined, only reminiscence makes it everlasting.
