中文常常會把一些語詞省略, 但是其隱含的語意仍然存在.
以版主所說明的情況: "這(篇文章)才是(本來要)給你的", 可以這麼說:
It's this article that is supposed for you (to read).
This article is what's supposed for you (to read).
(直譯: 這篇文章才是本來要給你的那一篇)

語氣的問題!
THIS is for you. (重音放在THIS)
什麼just for you, only for you都感覺是說 都只為你啊~只獻給唯一的妳啊什麼的
我覺得不太適合用在這樣的場合

其實英文是一種很簡單的語言，我想這是跟民族性有關。通常外國人都不會跟你囉嗦的。所以我們也不需要跟他囉唆，或害怕失禮。：）

覺得以上的翻譯怪怪的, 比較像是中式英文.
不知你的正確意思是不是要說: 有很多其他的東西但這個才是你的 (This is yours), 這個才是給你的 (This one is for you); 或是你要形容一件事或一個動作是對的, 這才是給你的 (This is just right for you).
