He said he was ill, which was true. 一樣是用逗號隔開修是前面整個句子。

The river which flows thorough London is callecd the Thames. 不用逗號，表限定。

She is the smartest girl that I have ever seen. 不用逗號，表限定。且依文法that之前不可加逗號。

[Mr.Will有三個兒子,他們都是醫生] 依中文翻譯知道他只有三個兒子，且都是醫生，不加逗號。若加逗號，則表示：他不只有三個兒子，且其中三個是醫生。

My sister married Max whom she had met in New York. 不加逗號，表限定。

He went to Japan ,where he stayed for two years. 專有名詞不必限定，加逗號。where = in which
