請問一份 paper 要怎麼去分辨他是 Journal 還是 Conference?

當我拿到一份paper時..
我要怎麼去分辨它
分辨它是conference or journal ?

而不是名詞解釋!

Journal指的是週期性發行的刊物，一般稱為期刊。
雖然各家期刊的週期長短不同，從週、半月、月、雙月、季、半年不等。但是期刊都是針對某特定領域所發行的週期性刊物。
只要是正式、公開發行的期刊，都有獨一無二的ISSN碼(International Standard Serial Number)，這組獨特的8碼設計，是用來辨識紙版印刷或電子媒體週期性刊物(print or electronic periodical publication)所用。
反觀conference則無，conference一般指論壇。而論壇通常是邀集學有專精或獨具卓見的人士，針對特定主題所發表的意見(例如常見的時事論壇News conference或學術論壇Academic conference)。其發行刊物非屬週期性，通常則以書籍用的13位數字ISBN(International Standard Book Number)替代。

conference can be used to describe any meeting of
people that "confer" about a certain topic.
