我發現我的汽車有問題。它不能發動了。 英文該如何翻？

I found there were someting wrong in my car.


它不能發動了。
It couln't start.

我的英文很爛，所以我不確定這樣寫有錯嗎？
懇請英文高手賜教。

因為我在學習造句，
所以我想知道以下的英文句子有錯嗎？

用英文時候，都要先把時態決定清楚，上句就看你何時發現的，基本上可有下面兩種：
1. I found (that) there was something wrong with my car.(過去某時發現的,所以主要子句的動詞"found"和that後面的名詞子句裡的動詞"was"，都用過去式)
It wouldn't start.
2. I have found (that) there is something wrong with my car.(剛發現的,主要子句用現在完成式,that後面的名詞子句裡的動詞用現在式"is",表示還壞著沒修)
It won't start.
something在英語裡都是表示單數意義;成語"there is/was something wrong with 人/事/物"或"something is/was wrong with人/事/物"(人/事/物有問題或故障)

正確應是 It was out of order.

這句就可以表示
It cannot work.
It cannot start.
It cannot move.

不用那麼囉唆
外國人講話都不這麼咬文嚼字的
