gramaticalmente hablando el futuro con will es más incierto que el futuro con going to mas verbo to be.
Está forma expresa un poco de duda o posibilidad.
I probably will go to acapulco tomorrow
I will visit my granmother perhaps.
Esta forma expresa más seguridad
Im going to visit my grandmother
I am going to go to Acapulco (informal gonna)
