Se escribe:
My friend has already left and will be there shortly

Se pronuncia:

Mai frend jas olredy left and will bi der short-ly ( mas o menos)

Se podría decir "My mate will be there shortly." o "My mate is on his way".

Maria, o Pedro o X left, but she or he will be right there...
He or She is gone, he or she will be there pretty soon...

He has just gone out, but he's coming soon.

He's already gone and I'm sure he'll be there any minute now/in a minute.
