ill-tempered, sulky, irritable, irascible, splenetic, ...

as a follow up...
The little girl cries easily. Any itty-bitty, little thing causes her eyes to well up.
The brothers can't stop fighting. Always trifle over things that mean little.
I'm in the doghouse with my wife on a permanent basis. (No addition necessary...)

I ike [tear prone] a lot. Now, can we push the envelop a bit, and claim [fist prone] to be a possible proxy for the second one, and [anger prone] for the third one?
But this one would fit the third example just as well: My wife angers too quickly/easily/readily/with little provocation.
