Situation:
You frequently receive alerts that the Sokets de Trois v1. Trojan horse is detected.

Solution:
The alerts are caused by a virus that uses the same configuration as the Sokets Trojan horse. You can disable the alerts without affecting your protection.

To turn off the alerting for the Sokets Trojan horse

Start Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
In the middle of the window, click Personal Firewall.
On the right side of the window, click Configure.
On the Advanced tab, click Trojan Horse.
Scroll through the list of rules to find the Sokets de Trois v1. Trojan horse rule.
Select the rule for this Trojan horse (do not uncheck it).
The rule is highlighted.
Click Modify.
On the Tracking tab, uncheck "Notify me with a Security Alert."
You will no longer see alerts for the Sokets de Trois v1. Trojan horse.
