what are you up to?是指最近還是指現在?
有外國網友問我what are you up to?
我回答nothing special.
這樣可以嗎?會不會很沒有禮貌?
跟how have you been?/how is going?一樣嗎?
因為一開頭已經問我how are you了?然後又問我what are you up to?

what are you up to? = what's up? = 妳最近在幹麻?
nothing special 還好,如果熟,如果不熟當然是該哈拉幾句,不然是沒關西啦
how have you been?妳過的如何
how's it going = how is it going? 過的如何? 差不多意思~
一開使你問她好ㄇ?他反問你最近在幹麻~?
若是問現在 只需加個 now
what are you to now?

what are you up to? 是問你最近都在忙些什麼,有沒有什麼好玩的事情的可以分享。


如果你有點幽默感,你可以回答:


I've been doing nothing but waiting for your phone call.


回答nothing special 雖然不會沒禮貌,但是會讓人覺得冷漠無情(cold shoulder),或是無精打采。還是少用微妙。


坊間有些關於 samll talk的書,建議參考看看。


How have you been? How is going? = How are you? 這三句僅是打招呼問好用的。
