Robert Cawdrey had the idea of publishing a dictionary "in which" the words were listed in alphabetical order
上面的IN WHICH意思是??

你說的那個in which
listed in alphabetical order

這裡的in which不是where的意思唷
不能用where
in which當成where用只有在受詞是"地點"的時候

1.Robert Cawdrey had the idea of publishing a dictionary.
2.The words were listed in alphabetical order in dictionary.
in which等於where,你也可寫成
Robert Cawdrey had the idea of publishing a dictionary "where " the words were listed in alphabetical order.

The conflict reaches its peak in the story's climax, the point in the story "where" the reader's interest is at its highest.
