Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds. Foi composta por John Lennon para o álbum dos Beatles, Sargent Pepper´s Lonely Hearts Club Band. É a terceira faixa daquele que é considerado por muitos "o melhor e mais revolucionário disco da história". Como todo disco dos Beatles foi também um megasucesso comercial, ficando 15 semanas seguidas em primeiro lugar na parada da Billboard e 27 semanas em primeiro lugar na parada inglesa. Sargent Pepper´s é considerado o album mais vendido da história da Inglaterra. Na época, houve muita polêmica pois se dizia que Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds era apenas uma forma dos Beatles se referirem à droga LSD. Lennon sempre negou isso, dizendo que a canção foi inspirada em um desenho de seu filho Jullian. Em meados da década de 70, Elton John fez uma gravação que também ficou famosa e também atingiu o primeiro lugar. John Lennon, muito amigo de Elton John, participou também dessa gravação. A música também aparece no desenho "Yellow Submarine" dos Beatles, em um dos melhores momentos daquela animação.
