o ideal é
''if she were alone''
soa estranho a princípio, mas com a partícula ''if'', usa-se ''were'' onde comumente se usaria ''was''...
você também poderia dizer: ''if she were by herself'', dependendo do contexto...

Se vc está fazendo uma pergunta, creio que ficaria melhor assim:
"What if she was alone ? "

Se ela estivesse sozinha = If she were alone.
Acho que também pode ser :"If she were by herself"

Não está correto. o certo seria, para uma frase afirmativa, usar esta forma : If she were alone.
ex: com "If" usa-se "were", veja:
If your father were here...
se seu pai estivesse aqui..." se ele(o pai) estivesse aqui" entendeu?

Não, o correto é: "If she were alone".
O "if" coloca a conjugação toda como"were"
Ex.: If I were you (Se eu fosse vc)
If she were young (se ela fosse jovem).
