Question

The first thing he does is brush his teeth.

降這句不就有二個動詞，is 和 brush.

還是brush his teeth是當作is的受詞 .

那does是用來幹麻的.

請英文很強ㄉ幫忙回答一下八

我想這應該不算文法了!!正常而言, be動詞之後的位置稱之為主詞補語,非受詞,而一般的主詞捕語含動作時,是用不定詞to VRT或Ving,所以本人竊以為您應改為--

特別強調某人做了某事情!!
所以用助動加強語氣
一般敘述的話則是可以省略不用 因為並沒有強調的語氣
但如果作者想要強調ABC做了某些事情的話 就會加上 DO DOES DID

需要依照作者的需求及想表現的態度語氣而定
可省略可不省略

這邊的DOES是因為主角 HE 是從DO做變化成DOES
因為第一句她說: 他做的第一件事情....

事情後面可以接很多..比如說開車 刷牙 煮飯 等等..
但是通常會用DO是因為可以做很多事情,但是不確定是做哪一件事情(比如開車 煮飯 或是刷牙),所以後面會受詞,來描述的更詳細他做了什麼

The first thing he does 是很完整的句子，但是描述的不夠詳細
所以後面要添加形容詞子句：brush his teeth　描述他做的第一件事情就是刷牙

在句中加ＩＳ是因為第一件事，如果今天他一開始做了三件事情，就會變成用ＡＲＥ

the first three things he does ARE 開車煮飯洗衣服...等等
