但在否定時, 卻可以改成so..as
如 He is not so tall as me. 或 He is not as tall as me.
想請問各位高手, 為什麼於否定時, 能將第一個as改為so
但卻於肯定句時, 不能寫成 He is so tall as me.

主詞是指人或物???或者是兩者皆可呢
否則 The house came into view. 該如何解釋呢

但是卻看不到主詞說出是"我們"???

其實你問的第一個問題,理由很簡單,就是沒有理由!這是習慣的用法;就像在中文裡面,肯定的時候你會說:這件衣服很「不錯」;但卻不會說:這件衣服很「錯」,來表示對這件衣服的不喜歡或不欣賞。對他們的語感而言,肯定句裡面出現so ... as... 的感覺就像我們中文裡說某樣東西很「錯」一樣怪異。
第二個問題,建議你先查一下字典。view這個字可當名詞和動詞用;名詞的話有視力、視野、景色等等意思;動詞則是觀看、察看、把A看成B等。這裡是名詞的用法,意思是「視野」。因此整個片語字面上的意思就是「進入視野」,其實就是我們所謂的「映入眼簾」;至於是什麼東西映入眼簾?當然就是句子的主詞!所以真的要翻它,照著英文的結構應該是:那棟房子映入眼簾。接著再想...到底是映入誰的眼簾?句子沒講嘛,所以最直覺的想法當然就把它當作是對敘述這段話的人而言的映入眼簾,選用第一人稱的「我」或「我們」了!
當然,我想這個句子會這樣寫,應該在上下文中你本來就能很清楚知道到底是映入誰的眼簾;否則的話,作者應該會寫:The house came into our view.
從上面的句子你就可以知道,如果要說清楚到底是誰看見了那棟房子,就要從view前面的所有格去下手,了改沒?
