一個人(爆發力)很強的英文要如何說呢?

想請問要形容一個人{爆發力很強}的英文要如何說
(名詞,動詞,形容詞,複合名詞都可,多多益善啦^_^)

不是指有衝勁
應該是形容當(艱難的任務或工作)落在身上時
本身的能力突然強化了N倍
卻不一定持久(超級賽亞人?)

另外,不知在(體育上)跟(工作上)
是否有分別呢?

您說的「爆發力」，雖然奇摩字典翻explosive force，在體育新聞報導當中，是用explosiveness這個專業術語。或者也可以講詳細一點，說explosiveness and quickness。

請看這段「飛人喬丹」重出江湖之後的報導，大意就是說雖然他展現出昔日的爆發力（his old explosiveness...），但畢竟已經三十八歲，體力有差，要再叫他從敵隊球員頭頂上飛過去，滿困難的：

athleticism是指運動選手具備的那種體能強度。英英字典註解為intense energy（http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/athleticism）

在工作場合形容一個人有爆發力，如果上下文定義不夠清楚明確，explosiveness單一個字突然冒出來，可能會令讀者產生以為是「脾氣上易怒」語意（emotional explosiveness），因此在下建議寫多寫一個speed and explosiveness或quickness and explosiveness，讓人明明白白了解是與「反應速度」或「瞬間應變能力」有關。不然就換用quickness and agility。
