(1)
The reducing agent is Fe2+(aq) ion, which is oxidized to Fe3+(aq). The half equation is :
Fe2+(aq) → Fe3+(aq) + e-(aq) .... (*)
The oxidizing agent is dilute HNO3, which is reduced to NO(g). The half equation is :
4H+(aq) + NO3-(aq) + 3e- → 2H2O(l) + NO(g) .... (**)
3 x (*) + (**), the overall equation is got,
3Fe2+(aq) + 4H+(aq) + NO3-(aq) → 3Fe3+(aq) + 2H2O(l) + NO(g)

The reducing agent is Mg(s), which is oxidized to Mg2+(aq). The half equation is :
Mg(s) → Mg2+(aq) + 2e- .... (#)
The oxidizing agent is concentrated HNO3, which is reduced to NO2(g).
2H+(aq) + NO3-(aq) + e- → H2O(l) + NO2(g) .... (##)
(#) + 2 x (##), the overall equation is got,
Mg(s) + 4H+(aq) + 2NO3-(aq) → Mg2+(aq) + 2H2O(l) + 2NO2(g)
