It'll be better understood from American point of view.

I am not sure if you have watched a basketball game in an American channel (with their local commericals) The phrase "Miller Time" has come from (supposed to be) the commerical of a beer called Miller and it's supposed to be "Miller Time" when you are enjoying that particular brand of beer. However as anyone knows Reggie Miller had a tremendous way of shooting 3-pointers especially in a very closed game at the late stage of a game, and when he's on fire people also uses the pharse "Miller Time". On May 7, 1995, New York was leading Indiana by 6 points. However, with 16.4 seconds left, Reggie scored 8 points in 8.9 seconds to beat New York Knicks!
