The equation is correct.
CaCO3(s) + H2SO4(aq) → CaSO4(s) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)

Note that the reaction will stop soon after the reaction starts. This is because the CaSO4(s) coats on CaCO3(s), and the reaction stops when CaCO3 cannot contact with the acid.

是否中和(neutralization)用不同的理論,會得到不同的結論。根據 Arrhenius 的酸鹼理論,因為生成物不止是鹽和水,所以不是中和。根據 Bronsted-Lowry 的酸鹼理論,因為有質子轉移(proton transfer)發生,所以是中和。

呢個係對的,呢個絕對不是neutralization(好多人搞錯的),因為reaction出咗CO2。而neutralization嘅product永遠得salt同water.
