Concordo que alguns programas são universais, mas acho que isso é meio "pessoal", pois cada computador tem uma finalidade de uso.
O computador caseiro deve ter os programas que seu dono precisar e/ou gostar, já um computador com utilidade profissional, deve ter os programas que tal empresa utilize com frequencia ou não.
