請問「無殼蝸牛」或「蝸牛族」的英文是什麼？

請問「無殼蝸牛」或「蝸牛族」的英文要怎麼翻？有看過「rentish」這種說法，但是不知道是不是一樣的意思？

無殼蝸牛應該就是蝸牛族了，兩者應該都是指沒有能力負擔購屋的人。
tenant 在英文中的界定比較籠統，跟 home owner 做對比自然指的是蝸牛族，但一般租屋者（不見得是沒有能力買，可能是在外工作等），也可以是 tenant。
故若要作特定指涉的話，加以說明會更清楚：
a tenant who can't afford a home
Taipei Times 把它翻成：
tenants (who are) left out in the cold
(餐風露宿的無殼蝸牛)

也是可以參考，但有一點太過，畢竟無殼蝸牛也不見得一定left out in the cold，且tenant既然指租屋族，又說 left out in the cold 似乎又有些矛盾。Anyway, 這個片語倒是可以點出無殼蝸牛的悲哀，也是一絕啊。
至於你說的 rentish，似乎不是一個普遍接受的字，在網路上的搜尋看來似乎也沒有無殼蝸牛的意思，而且好像都是形容詞的用法，故這個自我持保留態度，不敢肯定了。

「蝸牛族」就是 "homeowner" (線上英文字典Dictionary(www.dictionary.com)解釋為--- a person who owns a home (擁有房屋者)
