Hallo! Wer ist so lieb und hilft mir beim Übersetzen eines Briefes. Ich möchte einem amerikanischen Freund ein paar liebe Zeilen schreiben, der seine Freundin verloren hat, sie ist verstorben. Mein Englisch ist leider nicht ausreichend.Ich wäre so dankbar!
Der Text:
Lieber Jason, ich danke Dir für Deine Zeilen. Es tut mir gut, Dir zu schreiben, vielleicht auch deswegen, weil ich auch schon einen lieben Menschen verloren habe. Ich kann da mich gut in Dich reinversetzen. Es macht mich nur manchmal traurig, daß mein Englisch nicht besser ist, weil es viele Dinge gibt, über die ich mich mit Dir unterhalten würde. Jason, ich bin froh, daß Du für ein Jona so ein guter Freund warst. Wenn ein lieber Mensch stirbt, dann stirbt auch ein Teil von Dir, aber ein Teil bleibt in Deinem Herzen. Ich freue mich auch, wenn die Webseite fertig ist, es wird eine ganz besondere Webseite voller Herzlichkeit und Wärme, so wie Jona eben auch war. Ich bin froh, Dich zu kennen! Vanessa

thank you for your words. It feels good to write to you, maybe this is also because I lost a dear person myself. I can imagine what you feel. But sometimes I wish my English would be better, because there are many things I'd like to talk about with you. Jason, I am glad that you were such a good friend to Jona. When someone you love dies, a part of yourself dies with him, but a part of him remains in your heart. I will be happy when the website is complete, it is a very special website full of love and warmth, just as Jona has been himself. I am glad that I have met you.

Sometimes it just makes me upset, that my English isn't better because there are so many things that I would like to talk to you about. Jason, I am very glad that you have been such a good friend to Jona. If a beloved one dies, a part of yourself always dies, too, but another part will always stay in your heart.
