契兄弟姐妹英文應該點譯?

如題。 我通常會用 God，例如:God-sister, God-brother, 等。但係"God"大過宗教性，並非我們中國人講的意義。而且契兄弟姐妹未必經過正式禮節，與神無關。那麼到英文應該點翻譯？

畢竟文化不同，英語國家的人不會「契來契去」，所以英文裏沒有「契」的說法，而你說的「godbrother」就已經是類似的說法。
根據以下古德明的解釋，你也可以用「nominal」等來表示。總之就是沒有萬用而確切的翻譯。就如中文的「熱鬧」也是沒有萬用而確切的翻譯。

另，「stepbrother」或「stepsister」是「同父異母」或「同母異父」的兄弟姐妹。
