比較一下說明與標點符號 :
Mr. Wang has a son who lives in Taichung . ( 王先生有個住在台中的兒子)
這是" 限定用法 " , 指王先生不只一個兒子 , 因為不只一個 , 所以我描述時 ,
必須限定是住在台中的那一個

Mr. Wang has a son , who lives in Taichung . (王先生有個兒子, 兒子住台中)
這式 " 非限定用法 " ,指王先生只有一個兒子, 因為只有一個 , 也就不需
去限定是誰 , "非限定用法"也是"同位語用法"的一種 , a son 和 who 指的是
同一人 , 稱同位語用法

用一個例子可以很簡單地解釋限定和非限定用法的差別：

1. I have a sister, who is very pretty.
我有一個很漂亮的姊姊
(非限定用法，我「只有」一個姊姊，而且她很漂亮)

2. I have a sister who is very prety.
我有一個很漂亮的姊姊
(限定用法，我有很多個姊姊，現在我要談的這一位很漂亮)

這樣子你應該可以清楚地辨別你的句子了吧:)
