位什麼「入境隨俗」的英文要用「Rome」？

起源:
羅馬教會在星期六訂有齋戒儀式. 西元387年, 聖奧古斯丁在米蘭發現當地教會並未如此. 他請教當時的米蘭主教聖安布羅斯, 得到的回答是:
"When I am at Rome, I fast on a Saturday; when I am at Milan, I do not. Follow the custom of the Church where you are."
最終演變成為
"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."
