I like americans. I like the USA. And in Brazil there is certainly a minority of people that say they don't like the United States and talk all of that ignorant speech about imperialism and etc. that an informed person would never take too seriously. But there are minorities like this anywhere in the world. The majority of brazilians like the american w.o.l and we were raised under american music and Hollywood. People here, don't even think (when they talk about America) "Oh, this is american music" or "this is american 'whatever' " It's just "the movie", "the music", "the program". Do you know anything about our TV programming in Brazil? And Cable TV? We watch CNN directly in english without translation or subtitles in portuguese! How about that! The problem is that not many people in Brazil learn english very well, because the english taught at regular school is not very good. So, to really learn, people take especific english courses. If the english taught here became better, i think that people would understand what they listen in the music and would understand better what they watch on TV and movies and this would make people here like the US still even more.

I live in USA since 1998. It's a nice country, I had a great opportunity to work, to make money, I have a nice car BMW, my husband is a marchant marine so he makes a good money, we have a nice and big house. So my live is completed. But the only thing I hate is the goverment now, too many inocent people died in that stupid war for nothing. We need to live in peace.

Eu gosto muito de morar aqui na Florida as pessoas sao muito amigaveis..mais ,por outro lado e um pouco dificil pq aqui se diz que e um paiz livre mais nao e bem assim, nao...I like very much to live here in Florida the people here are very friendly...but is not that easy the people say here are the free country,but is not really this way.

America is a great Country. People is nice and still the land of opportunities. Many Brazilians hate US now because there is a huge anti-America propaganda right now all over the world.

The main cause for that geral dislike is the foreign police of Bush. The attack of Iraq using "escuses" was not well received abroad.

During the Bill Clinton administration, US was very popular in Brazil. Bill came to the Contry and played soccer witn minority group's children. The overall image of US was pretty good at that time.

I believe under a new adminsitration US can recover it's great image. Remember, Brazil was the only Country to send troops to the 2nd Great War, fighting together with US.

I think you will have several bad awsers here.

Os americanos deveriam cuidar dos seus problemas internos que são muitos.
Não dá para aceitar é os americanos metendo o bedelho em todos os lugares no mundo onde enxergam a possibilidade de gerar um conflito para venderem armas e irem destruindo tudo.
Se vc é americano eu não sei, mas me nego a responder em inglês por considerar que são eles que tem que aprender a nossa língua e não eu ter que me curvar a responder isso na língua deles.
Se vc for americano, uma pena. Está perguntando isso para um brasileiro que não gosta de nada do que os amercanos fazem pelo mundo.
É claro que tem americano que não pensa como os seus governantes. Torço para que um dia estes também cheguem ao poder para mudarem as atitudes de seu país.
