C is incorrect.
This is because only iron rusts (rusts = 生成鐵鏽).
If the statement is changed to 「The tungsten wire corrodes.」, it is also incorrect. This is because 「corrosion of tungsten」 usually refers to the slow chemical change of tungsten with substances in the environment, e.g. oxygen and water.
D is correct.
When electric current is passed through the tungsten wire, temperature increases. The tungsten reacts rapidly with oxygen in air and thus burns out.
