Si sabés el significado, sabrás por qué le dicen Jesús El Nazareno o El Galileo --Jesús de Galilea--, La Gloria de Belén pero... ¿realmente dónde nació, en Nazareth, Galilea o Belén y ya no pediré demasiado, bueno, ganás al decirnos qué quieren decir estos nombres de sitios santos (semántica, eh?),

El nombre Jesús (gr. I·e·sóus) corresponde al nombre hebreo Jesúa (o Jehosúa, su forma completa), que significa “Jehová Es Salvación”. Era un nombre bastante común en aquel tiempo. Por eso, con frecuencia se precisaba especificar diciendo “Jesús el Nazareno”. (Marcos 10:47; Hechos 2:22.) El título Cristo viene del griego Kjri·stós, cuyo equivalente en hebreo es Ma·schí·aj (Mesías), que significa “Ungido”.

Jesús nació en Belén (que significa: Casa de Pan) debido a un censo que César ordenó y que obligó a José y María a viajar a ese lugar
José y María residían en Nazaret (que significa probablemente: Ciudad del Brote). Nazaret era una ciudad de la región de Galilea (que significa: “rodar; alejarse rodando).

Por eso a Jesús se le puede llamar 'de Belén' porque nació allí,

Jesús es la traducción forzada del nombre hebreo "Yoshua" y digo forzada porque el sucesor de Moisés tenía el mismo nombre pero fue traducido como "Josué" para diferenciarlos.....y Cristo deriva del griego "Christós" que significa mesías. JESUS es la forma latina (a su vez adaptada del griego) de YOSHUA, su nombre original, sacado del patriarca Josué, el que actuó junto a Moisés. La palabra significa "el que salva".
CRISTO se relaciona con Crisma (no con Cruz); significa "el ungido". Es la traducción al griego de la palabra hebraica que conocemos como "mesías", con el mismo significado (escogido). La persona elegida era ungida con óleo.
Jesús nunca fue bautizado como Cristo. En su adultez se le reconoció como el Mesías, es decir, el elegido por Dios, ungido por él como su enviado.
Las 3 formas que mencionas significan: El Mesías Jesús, o Jesús el Mesías. La forma "Jesucristo" es particular del idioma castellano, en que pueden combinarse dos palabras (otro ejemplo es "Latinoamérica").

El evangelio de Lucas relata el nacimiento de Jesús en Belén (hebraico Bethlehem). No hay controversia sobre este punto entre los cristianos. Nadie sostiene que haya nacido en Nazareth, pero se sabe que ahí vivió hasta empezar su ministerio público. Tampoco se discute que su muerte fue en Jerusalén; está mencionado en los 4 evangelios.
