Anodizing is a process of electrolysis. The anode used is an aluminium plate, and any common cathode can be used (usually aluminium is also used as the cathode). The electrolyte is dilute sulphuric acid. When electric current is passed through the electrolytic cell for some time, a layer of aluminum oxide is formed. The process is called anodizing of aluminium (the aluminium plate).

After anodizing, the aluminium oxide layer can be made closely-packed by putting the aluminium plate in water and heat the water to boil. If a dye is dissolved in the water, the aluminium plate will become coloured.

------

Ionization is process of formation of ions from electrically neutral species.

For example,
CH3COOH(aq) = CH3COO^-(aq) + H^+(aq)
HCl(g) + aq → H^+(aq) + Cl^-(aq)

電鍍咪係將自身既物質過左俾另外一個物質(高价金屬-->低价金屬)
電離是將要電離既溶液既金屬離子過俾另一個物質,而自身既離子又會溶左入溶液內.
