三題英文文法的疑問

Question

1.
I don't know what Robert sees in her; I do not find her ____(attract) at all.
答案是attractive，不過我寫attraction。
我的疑問是attractive是adj.而attraction是N.
這裡怎麼會填入adj.呢？
是答案有誤嘛？

2.
The coat my mother bought me ____ me very _____.
答案是kept....warm。
我是覺得這句子的結構我看不太懂。
我的想法是
My mother bought me the coat.
The coat kept me very warm.
這兩句變成
My mother bought me the coat which kept me very warm.
這樣沒錯吧？
不過題目為什麼能把which去掉，又把the coat放在句首呢？


3.
The holes they live in ___ burrows.
答案是are calld
我的想法是
They live in the holes.
The holes are called burrows.
這兩句變成
They live in the holes which are called burrows.
這樣沒錯吧？
不過題目為什麼能把which去掉，又把the holes放在句首呢？



請指導一下。
而(2)跟(3)似乎是同類型的題目，可以舉一個回答就好。

(一)
及物動詞(vt)後面需要接受詞, 不過有一種狀況稱為"不完全及物
動詞(incomplete vt, ivt)", 還必須加上受詞補語, 表達的意思才完
整. 以不定詞(to-V)為補語時, 如果V是 be動詞, 通常 "to be" 可以
省略.
find 這個動詞兼具兩種功能:

I find that she is not attractive at all.
that 引導的明名詞子句當受詞.--> vt
I find her to be not attractive at all.
= I find her not attractive at all.
= I don't find her to be attractive at all.
= I don't find her attractive at all.
以上四句是 ivt , her 當 find 的受詞 (是"受格"而非"所有格")
(二)

My mother bought me the coat.
The coat kept me very warm.
這兩句變成

My mother bought me the coat which kept me very warm.
這樣沒錯, 語意是"我母親買了一件非常保暖的外套給我".

The coat my mother bought me kept me very warm.
我母親買給我的外套非常保暖.
[這句的主體 (the coat) 已經和上一句的主體 (my mother) 不同, 所
以結構已經改變, 不能如您所說 "題目為什麼能把which去掉，又
把the coat放在句首" 來看.]
= The coat (that) my mother bought me kept me very warm.
that 引導一個形容詞子句來修飾 coat.
也就是說, 兩個句子合併時, 根據所選的主體不同, 會有不同的寫
法, 表達的語意也不盡相同.

你是因為看到her，才想說後面應該要接名詞的嗎？
這裡的her是受詞，後面要接的是形容詞沒錯～

這句話中如果要使用到attraction～
用的就是find something in someone的句型～
應該說～ I do not find any attractive characters in her at all.
而本句使用的句型是～
find someone/something + 形容詞
另一個例句是～
I do not find the phone useful at all.


(2)＆(3)的部分其實你的想法是正確的～
問題出在～

(2)My mother bought me the coat which kept me very warm.
=>句中會用到 "the" coat是因為這個大衣不是隨便的大衣～是媽媽買給我的那件～可是在你的用法中，意思則是～"the coat"不是隨便的大衣，而是能使你保暖的大衣～可以改成 My mother bought me a coat which kept me very warm.～

而(3)They live in the holes which are called burrows.
=>跟上一句的問題一樣～句中用到"the" holes是因為強調這是他們住的洞，可你的用法變成強調"the" holes是洞穴唷～這個用法只要把the去掉即可～They live in holes that are called burrows.

這兩題可以把which或that去掉的原因在於，子句（是叫從屬子句嗎？）本身結構已經完整了（也就是有主詞+動詞），不需要用that 或是which 當作子句的主詞～

這種題目你因為是有第一句的狀態先發生，第二句才接著講～
所以你就是把第一句變成第二句的子句就好了～
My mother bought me the coat.
The coat kept me very warm.
所以第二句的主詞(The coat)當作句首～
然後後面用連接詞加上第一句～讓第一句成為子句～
最後再把第二句的後段接上即可～
