Hat Trick 就是連中三元
帽子戲法英文名稱是hat-trick，指一名球員在一場比賽中攻進三球，hat-trick的說法沿自板球，指一名投手連續使三個擊球員退場，由於板球要使擊球員退場很不容易(不像棒球的三振)，因此hat-trick並不容易出現，足球借用hat-trick來稱讚一場比賽踢進三球也是不容易的成績或者一隊球隊三連勝。最普遍用法在冰上曲棍球賽中若一球員在同一場球賽中射進三球,稱為hat trick,現場關眾會把帽子丟進冰場以示鼓勵.
