關係子句的非限定用法又稱為補述用法，用於
1.專指特定一人或事物
2.修飾前面一整句
最明顯可辨的方式就是 關係代名詞前會有一逗號.
至於你說有什麼差別，
以前老師教我們一個最白話最簡單的方式
非限定(補述)的那一句，是做為補充用
今天假如你把那一句遮掉　別人還是知道你在指某一特定人/事物.
舉兩個例子:
[例1]The man is Ann's father, who is a lawyer.
這句話裡面，關係子句補充告訴你他是個律師
今天就算我不加那句關係子句，你還是知道那個人就是Ann's father
因為Ann只有一個爸爸.
[例2] 比較給你看看：
(1)The man has a son who lives in Taipei.
這是限定用法，代表說這男人有不只一個兒子
(2)The man has a son, who lives in Taipei.
這是非限定用法，此句表示這男人只有一個兒子

你的第二個問題：
1.The building where her father works is very tall.
2.The cake which he bought is sweet.
3.That was the time when I first visit her.
