您說對了, 但是就如我在解答最後所說, 如果語意上不會引起誤解, 其實有無逗號並無差別. (原句中三個均為物項, 比較容易引起誤解)
語言首重達意, 文法其實是人(尤其是"外人")強制歸納的, 輔助學習可以, 不可喧賓奪主.

最簡單的分辨方式就是逗號的有無。
題幹做義譯的話是:
從黑雲垂掛下的龍捲風看起來像漏斗。(只有一個龍捲風)
而閣下的義譯是:
(有很多龍捲風，)而從從黑雲垂掛下的龍捲風看起來像漏斗。
