Entre os artistas de reggaeton mais conhecidos do mundo Entre Entre os q estão na lista q cantam Reggeatone: Don Omar, Vico C, Tego Calderon, Luny Tunes, Baby Rasta e Gringo, Polaco, Ivy Queen, Zion e Lenox, Tito Bambino, Latino (cantor) e Daddy Yankee.
No Brasil o estilo chegou pela voz do Latino embora poucos tenham reconhecido em suas músicas o reggaeton, termo que era pouco conhecido até a chegada do álbum Barrio Fino de Daddy Yankee. Este mostrou um Reggaeton de protesto e sexo. A música que fez o ritmo estourar no pais foi "Gasolina".
