請問時間副詞不是都要放在句子後面嗎？為什麼這句是放在中間呢？
是因為有because嗎？如果yesterday放在句末這樣也對嗎？

2.中翻英：他們兩個今天早上都在家→ They both were home this morning.
請問句中were可以用stayed代替嗎？stay home是不是也是待在家呢？

3.英翻中：After several months，the police finally found the killer..
請問這句是這樣翻譯嗎→幾個月後警察最後發現了兇手
為什麼動詞要用過去式found，這不是幾個月以後的事嗎？
我只有國二，目前只學過現在式和過去式，還是這是什麼時態？

是因為有because嗎？如果yesterday放在句末這樣也對嗎？句子後面所指的是副詞子句，用來形容Kelly為什麼昨天去看醫生了。

請問句中were可以用stayed代替嗎？stay home是不是也是待在家呢？
當然可以，但是意思卻有差別。were home表示到家，stayed home表示在家卻哪也沒去。

為什麼動詞要用過去式found，這不是幾個月以後的事嗎？
我只有國二，目前只學過現在式和過去式，還是這是什麼時態？即便過了幾個月以後，那幾個月後的狀態也不一定是現在式。意思是說，警察在案發過後幾個月發現了兇手。但未必是現在才發現的。

grades在美國是跟成績一樣的意思，跟我們台灣的計分方式不太相同。舉例來說︰A+等於甲上A等於甲A-等於甲下（以此類推）

請問finished是動詞嗎？那為什麼前面要用was？因為家庭作業不是自己本身主動完成，所以要用“被動態“。

8.I don’t know where to get on the train.
我每一個字都認識，可是我卻不知道這句是什麼意思。是指：『我不知道哪裡可以上火車』嗎？或是問『我不知道搭火車要在哪裡上車』，可是感覺都怪怪的，可以告訴我到底這句是在說什麼嗎？（搭火車的時候）我不知道在哪上車舉例來說︰這個情況像是在國外，尤其是巴黎的火車站，裡面有20幾個月台，找不到要在哪個月台上車的時候可以這樣問，在台灣可能就比較沒有這種困擾。

請問應該用哪一句？這三句都可以用，但是最簡單的說法會是第一句。麻煩一點就選第二句囉。第三句太正式，一般人不會這麼白目。

1. 其實是二句: A-"Kelly went to a doctor yesterday. " B-" because she was sick."
A- 是主要句子, 可以單獨存在, B-是副詞子句, 不能單獨存在, 要加上個主要句子
你可以只說 A , 但是不能只說 B
你還可說: Because she was sick, Kelly went to a doctor yesterday.
"主要句+副詞子句 " 或是 "副詞子句+ 逗點+ 主要句"

2. 都是在家, 不過意思差一點, Stay 的意思比較強調都待在家

3. find 這個字大部份都用過現在式及過去式 啦,
比如說, I can't find it. I found it .
你找到了, 就是過去啦, 就用 found

4. 昨天Amy 有好事發生

5. 可以, 放前放後都ok

6 : 你只要看到: bev + 過去分詞(很多時候就是過去式動詞) ,表示 "被動語態"
被.... 所以 6-He was hurt yesterday.
他受傷了 (由這句子可以知道他是被弄受傷的)
7: John’s homework was not finished by himself.
(作業不會自己完成, 是沒被完成..所以用was not finished)

8: I don't know where to get on the train. 我不知道去哪兒坐(上)火車
重點句是: I don't know... 我不知道
where to get on the train 是繼續讓別人了解你不知道什麼
你不知道" 去哪兒坐火車"
where to get on the train 是個名詞子句, 當名詞用
你還可以說 I don't knwo "how to do my homework"/ "what to do" ...之類的

9. 都可以啦 你只是把主詞 Tina's birthday 換成 Her birthday, Tina's = Her
Tina's pen=Her pen; Tina's mother = Her mother

It = Tina's birthday, 所以都可以啊
