A: Wow! It's almost December! The winter vacation is near! Do you have any plans for the vacation? (哇~都快12月了! 寒假快到了! 妳寒假有什麼計畫嗎?)

B: My family is planning to go to Hong Kong for the vacation holidays. (我家人計畫去香港過假期)

A: That sounds nice! Where do you want to go in Hong Kong? (聽起來不錯, 你想去香港哪裡呢?)

B: Actually....I can't go, because I think I am going to fail Math this semester...therefore I have to stay here to catch up on my grades. (其實, 我應該不能去, 因為我這學期數學蕩了...我要留在這裡補學分)

A: That's awful....but, I feel happy for you. (這樣好糟糕, 可是我還算爲你感到高興)

B: Happy?!? Why?!? (高興?!? 為什麼?!?!)

A: At least you are not going on winter vacation because of your school work, I can't go on winter vacation because I have to earn some money for my family. ( 至少你是因為學業所以不能去放寒假, 我是因為要賺錢給我家人所以不能放寒假)

B: I see, look on the bright side! I'll be here with you! (原來如此, 想開一點, 我會在這陪你的!)

A: Thank you! You are really a great friend! (謝謝你! 妳真是位好朋友!)

B: You are too! Let's enjoy ourselves this winter! (妳也是, 我門好好的享受這寒假吧!)
