(a) Distance travelled in a complete lap = 2xpix160 m = 1005 m
where pi=3.14159...
Speed = distance/time = 1005/36 m/s = 27.9 m/s
(b) Centripetal acceleration = v^2/r
where v is the speed and r is the radius of circle
thus centripetal acceleration = 27.9^2/160 m/s2 = 4.87 m/s2
