How much does he save each month?
If there are no changes in his salary and the rent but he wants to spend$700 more on other uses, find the percentage decrease in his savings.

(100 - 37.5 - 45) x 12000/100
= 17.5 x 12000/100
= $2100 per month (savings)

12000 x 45%=5400 (spending)
5400+700=6100 (increased spending)
12000 x 37.5%=4500 (rent)
Savings = 12000 - 4500 - 6100 = 1400

(2100-1400)/2100 x 100
= 33.33% (less in savings)
