我個人常常會為了中文如何用英文來詮釋感到十分傷腦筋 因為語法的關係嗎?
各位大大都有不錯的見解~ 遺憾的是 中英文的說法常會相互衝突的時候 讓中文也不好的我相當的困惑 化妝品由某某代言 確實是有商業用法 但中文是這麼寫的 所以我只好這麼問~~! 還是感到困惑~~ =="

先跟你說一件事，以外國市場而言(尤其美國)比較沒有「代言人」這個觀念。他們雖然會請明星拍廣告，可是卻不像台灣，固定維持半年甚至一年。所以嚴格說起來，他們沒有固定的代言人。所以要翻的話可以說成「吳佩慈幫這個產品背書。」
説法一：Pace Wu is the product endorser of this brand.
如果你有說化妝品牌，就不用特別提化妝品。比如說雅x或歐 x，大家通常聽到就會聯想到化妝品。如果想要強調也是可以。就像上面的人所寫的the cosmetics of this brand。
說法二：Pace Wu endorses the products of this brand.
只是把endorser變成動詞的另一種說法。

看到你的提問會以為你要問的是"代表發言的人"，
那跟你問的內容就不太一樣喔，
如果是你問的: "此品牌化妝品是由吳佩慈代言的"
像這類的用法比較偏向於"推銷"的詞彙，
例: This cosmetic is promoted by XXX (person).
ps. promote比較接近商業化的一種說法喔
但是如果是像"代表發言的人"，
用法就完全不一樣，
發言人: spokesman(男性) / spokeswoman(女性) / spokesperson (無分性別)
例: An organized company normally has a spokesperson to response questions from media.
一個有組織架構的公司通常都有一個發言來應對媒體的問題。
