當你要講一件物件屬於某人既時候, 但只用於4種情況
1. hers=她的
Whose book is this? It is hers.
2. ours=我們的
Whose project is this? It is ours.
3. yours=你的/你們的
Whose pen is this? It is yours.
4. 加在人名後面的 's
Whose dress is this? It is Anna's.
或
This is Anna's dress.

當Sentence 是verb 及present tense, third person & singler number 之時.
例:
The judge sentences Al Capone 3 years inprisonment.
