【If God give me three wishes】.

I totally agree with you on this "to give or to grant" thing, for I think it's just a matter of "word for word" translation from Chineses to English, a problem many people here have expressing their ideas in English. As to the topic "My Three Wishes," I think it may be a little bit deviated from the original one. With the latter I would come up with some wild, unchecked, and even bizarre ideas, since God is going to "grant me." On the other hand, with "My Three Wishes" I might be focusing on those that are more realistic, attainable, and important, hoping that they'll finally come true.  A good question you got here I'd say.
