1) there are 65 wokers in a project of digging and removing mud from a working site . Each worker can dig 2.5m of mudor remove 30m mud everyday . If the surpervisor of this project wants to allocate the workersin such a way that the mud dig every day can be remove on the same day,find an appiopriate method of allocating the workers?

Let X be the no.of workers who dig , then the no. of workers who is move mud is 65-X.

Let the number of workers digging the mud be x
2.5x = 30(65 - x ) .
2.5x = 1950 - 30x
32.5x = 1950
x =60
the number of workers digging the mud should be 60
the number of workers removing the mud should be 5

2.5x = 1950-30x
32.5x = 1950
x = 1950/32.5
x = 60

60 workers should dig , (65-60)=5 workers should move mud
