SO...

A give it to B.
A give B it.(x)
用代名詞不能放在這個位置.
A give a ring for B.=
A give a ring to C for B.
A代表(代替)B把戒指給了C.

一樣用過去式動詞gave,(刪去第2與第4)
it是ring的代名詞,
然後用to指明A給B,
make sense, right? ^^
