Can anybody tell me in wich bank could this be easier/cheaper...?

No problem. Go in an Italian Bank and ask for it....

Yes, you can.
But it's necessary to have an italian legal identification's document and a fiscal code.

they might ask you for a co-signer (best if a relative) that actually lives in italy

...well if you have an italian passport I suppost you are an italian citizien....so ther's no problem to open a bank accout and I think it will be easier if you have an italian job that you can attest....
