請教對加拿大大學了解的人~

Question

我現在在溫哥華讀10年級, 明年好像年初就要省考了
我想請問: 我的目標是UBC或UT的理工科
我知道UBC會看10-12年級的在校成績跟省考,因為在BC省
那多倫多大學呢?它的入學需求是?會要求10年級成績嗎?

安大略省的大學會要求10年級成績嗎?

我就是怕說10年級的成績也要看
根本就會沒好日子過
可以給我最新的資訊嗎

as long as your grade 12 marks are high enough, you can get in any canadian universitybut also remember that "high" marks vary from university to univeristy, and also faculty to facultyfor example.. UBC forestry require ~75% average for entry, science require ~85%needless to say, Engineering is gonna need above 85%, and that's if you apply as a BC residentfor applying to UT, you will need to out-compete the applicants who are residence of OntarioAlthough easier said than done, aim for an "entrance scholoarship" averagethey usually only look at grade 12 marks, and only when it's near the cut-off point do they compare grade 11... why? they assume marks don't fluctuate from year to year... i mean... if someone got a 50% average in grade 10/11.. its not very likely that they would get a 80% above average in grade 12... fact of life i guess...the only time they definitely look at gr. 11 marks is when your highschool applies you for the entrance scholarships (some highschools do this, some don't.. mine did) which happens after you finish grade 11anyway, try to get as much info as you can... i understand your frustration as I went through the same thing, not knowing where to get important info...if possible, get in contact with a student recruitment officer.. they get really busy sometimes but they will definitely reply to your emails(esp those that come around to highschools and make a presentation)and in case you couldn't find it, Engineering Admission Info for UT:http://www.prospective.engineering.utoronto.ca/English/Other-Canadian-Applicants.htmlFor UBC:http://www.students.ubc.ca/welcome/admission.cfm?page=bc&view=program&ID=engineeringGood luck! :)

我2000年聲請時 多倫多大學看的是
grade 12:English Math Physics Chemistry(平均90以上機會就很大)

grade 11: gr.11 2nd language,gr 11 social study, gr.11 english, gr.11 math, any 2 grade 11 science pass即可(不管平均 只管pass or fail)

grade 10:別當掉 可以順利聲上gr.11就好

不過那是六年前的資訊囉 僅供參考

想要12年級時輕鬆點 你可以今年暑假修一些11年級的課, 你到11年級時就可以接著拿那些12年級的課. 這樣你到12年級時 課就不會那麼多 就可以集中精神在大學會看的科目.

你現在10年級.....就玩吧 好日子不多了~~

少數會把11的拿來做參考或是瞄一眼
但是10年級的丟垃圾筒啦
