Led by two stalwarts of the local country scene - pedal-steel and dobro standout John Rickard and guitar ace Ron Derossett- this band can wrap its wide-ranging talents around everything from George Jones to Tim McGraw to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Tying this array of styles together is bulletproof musicianship and an upbeat stage presence that has earned Haywire a moonlighting gig backing up KNIX-FM's Tim and Willy as the "All-Earl Band." Haywire's sets have only gotten stronger as a 2002 addition, singer Vance Haines, spices up his onstage moves.
