Bueno referente a tu traducción, yo lo escribiría así:
Although I understand English, I am not able to write it quite well. But of course I would love to visit that place. It would be very interesting and exciting to me but ...do I need anything special in order to make that trip? Any kind of special care?

Las repuestas que te han dado hasta ahora tienen algunos errorcitos, como signos de interrogación al inicio de la pregunta cuando en inglés no se utilizan o haber traducido "emocionante" como "exiting" en vez de "exciting". Además en inglés es necesario agregar una conjunción -como ese "Although" que añadí al principio- para hacer el contraste entre entender inglés pero no escribirlo.

Una pregunta: ¿cuándo te refieres a "algún tipo de cuidado especial" quieres decir diligencias, trámites, visas, etc? Porque de ser así, sustituye "special care" por "visa or any other formality". ¡Suerte!
