First What is you native languagen?If you live in Usa maybe I can Help.I'm Brazilian and I'm living in Hawaii.Maybe I can give some help in Portuguese but I want to know also the purpose for your interesting in learnin speak portuguese.

Antes de tudo, comece a ler. Leia tudo, dos jornais à literatura. Ganhará vocabulário. Caso não possa pagar professor particular, adquira uma boa gramática para compreender a mecânica da língua. E escreva, escreva muito, mesmo que com erros. Peça um perito para corrigir e comentar. Com o tempo, vai aprender português...
