在未來時態的表達中﹐動詞必須維持原形﹐不像在過去時態式中動詞本身要變化。
KV06TLX大大已經說得很清楚了﹐動詞的未來式變化不在動詞本身﹐而在動詞前面所加的助動詞。在未來時態的表達中﹐動詞必須保持原形﹐只能在動詞之前加上will﹑shall﹑would各種表示發生於未來的助動詞﹑或be going to的習慣用語﹑或be to+不定詞以表示未來要發生的事。
此處補充以上回答沒有提到的用“不定詞”來表達“未來”或“預定”的語氣﹕
She is to sing these songs in the first half of show.
她預定在上半場演唱會上唱這幾首歌
=She will sing these songs in the first half of show.
The ship is to arrive tomorrow. 船預定明天抵達=The ship will arrive tomorrow.
He is about to die. 他即將去世=He will die soon
I am about to leave. 我就要走了=I'll leave soon
The case is to be investigated=. 此案尚待調查= The case will be investigated

A. 一般表示(將發生), 其中be going to 較口語
1. will sing 例: They will sing the hymn in the rally.
2. is going to sing 例: She is going to sing the chant in the church.
3. are going to sing 例: You are going to sing the ballad in the contest.
B. 表示未來之意願
1. would sing例: I would sing the song with you at the birthday party on Sunday.
C. (未來)必須,應,可
1. shall sing: 例: We shall sing the national anthem in the ceremony.

be going to sing be going to+原型動詞 will sing will+原形動詞
